Ben Chrisman is the vice president, associate general counsel - corporate for GridLiance, an independent transmission company primarily focused on working with electric cooperatives, municipal utilities, and others to plan for the future, invest in electric infrastructure, and implement strategies that meet its partners’ ownership, capital investment, and operational goals. In this role, he oversees GridLiance’s acquisitions, developments, and other corporate legal work, and assists with its board secretary functions.
Before joining GridLiance, Chrisman was an attorney in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets group of Vinson & Elkins LLP, where he focused on M&A, private equity, and capital markets transactions across a wide variety of industries.
Chrisman earned a Bachelor of Arts from the Oklahoma State University, magna cum laude, and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, with honors, and is admitted to practice in Texas.
